The 'One' table calendar combines sharp design, philosophy, and magnets

Round Calendar Jeong Yong

Fantastical may be the easiest-to-use calendar app for the iPhone, but the One table calendar has a little more artistic flair — and magnets. The days of the month are printed on the largest circle, representing solar cycle, and the middle ring shows the months, representing the lunar cycle. The smallest one tells the day of the week, and South Korean designer Jeong Yong says that the pieces together capture the connection between the individual and time itself. The date is shown by the intersection of all three rings, which can be arranged in any number of ways thanks to magnets hidden inside each one. The One isn't available for purchase, but we wouldn't be surprised to see it in a Crate & Barrel or Design Within Reach eventually.
