Tweetbot has dropped in price to just $0.99 on both iPhone and iPad, and we'd recommend picking up either or both right away — there's never been a better time to get on board with a quality third-party Twitter client. They're becoming a bit of an endangered species following Twitter's imposition of strict new API rules; developers are limited in the number of users they can serve, and many have been forced to charge relatively high prices as a result. Tweetbot's unique interface and excellent functionality have led it to become probably the most highly acclaimed iOS client, and now it's available for a bargain price. Unfortunately, however, the Mac version remains at $19.99.
