'Cut the Rope' creators release first new game 'Pudding Monsters' in App Store

Cut the Rope was a huge success on various mobile platforms, so it's no surprise that its Russian developer ZeptoLab went all-out on spin-offs and merchandising. Today, though, the company releases its first new game since that runaway hit: Pudding Monsters is now rolling out across the iOS App Store (unfortunately in separate iPhone and iPad versions), with an Android version also due today. It's a puzzle game that involves sticking blobs of personified desserts together, though the art style isn't too far removed from Cut the Rope. Speaking to Bloomberg, Zeptolab says that the game is just the first in a series of new properties from the studio.

Update: The Android version is now available in the Google Play Store.
