Amazon Instant Video app released for iPhone and iPod touch

Amazon Instant Video iPhone

Amazon's Instant Video app is now available for iPhone and iPod touch. The video streaming app was originally released for iPad back in August but has finally been brought to Apple's smaller iOS devices. Like before, Amazon Prime subscribers have free access to thousands of TV shows and movies — Amazon puts the figure at around 30,000. And while you can't purchase or rent content directly within the app, you'll be able to watch any media already tied to your account. Amazon Instant Video for iPhone is free and available in the App Store now. The company also today announced plans to release Cloud Player (Amazon's music streaming app) for Roku set top boxes and Samsung Smart TVs.
