A week after Instagram killed support for Twitter Cards, which provide a glimpse of linked content directly inside a tweet, Pinterest is embracing the functionality. User Kelly Lieberman was first to notice that items she was pinning (and sharing on Twitter) could be previewed right from the microblogging service. Pinterest has since confirmed to Wired that it began testing the deeper integration last week before the feud between Instagram and Twitter escalated into an all-out war. Pinterest Twitter Cards display both the pinned content and whatever board it's been saved to, which allows your followers to quickly jump to your profile page on the sharing site.
