Vote for January's Book Club selection now

Book Club FTF

We have just chosen Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash for December's book, ending 2012 with a classic. But we're also ready to look ahead to 2013, and our fifth month of the Book Club.

Starting right now, you can cast your vote for January's selection, and the voting will continue until the end of the month. We're listing the possible books below, but we're not going to "summarize" or give anything away about them, because we hate spoilers. Feel free to research at your own risk if you choose. This month, we made sure that every option is available as an ebook as well.

Pattern Recognition, by William Gibson (2003) - A novel about a marketing consultant.

Alif the Unseen, by G. Willow Wilson (2012) - A novel about a hacker. Also, one of the NYT 100 Notable Books of 2012.

Dune, by Frank Herbert (1965) - A novel about a young heir to a great fortune.

The Drowned World, by J. G. Ballard (1962) - A novel about a biologist.

The Dispossessed, by Ursula K. LeGuin (1974) - A novel about a physicist.
