Wii Mini revealed by Best Buy with a release date of December 7th

wii mini leak

Despite shipping its new Wii U console recently, Nintendo appears to be readying an additional video games system for the holiday season. Best Buy Canada has revealed a Wii Mini console on its online pages, with pre-orders that appear to be available soon. The site also suggests that the console will be released on December 7th.

Previous rumors have suggested that the Wii Mini will include a sensor bar, nunchuck, and Wii Remote Plus with jacket. Best Buy has only revealed a small image of the Wii Mini, but it appears to confirm that this is the second redesign of the Wii Console, following last year's minor revision that removed GameCube backwards compatibility. We've reached out to Nintendo and Best Buy and we'll update you accordingly.
