Behind the controls of the IDF's Iron Dome missile defense system

With the war between the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas once again in the spotlight, Wired has revisited a piece looking at the IDF soldier who has managed to shoot down more missiles than any other. Using the Iron Dome missile defense system, Idan Yahya had managed to intercept eight incoming rockets as of April. The piece is an interesting look at the technology behind the Iron Dome, and what it's like to actually operate it. "There's a lot of information and there is very little time," the soldier told Wired. "It definitely reminds me of Warcraft and other online strategy games."
